If you're curious, drop-ins and tryouts are totally welcome — and free if you decide it's not for you, so there's no excuse not to give it a go.

Looking for a fun and musical way to spend the holidays? Our Holiday Programme is back. Learn and instrument or two, join a band (or two), learn or write a few songs, and prepare for a concert or music video. Read about our guest tutor below 👇

🗓️ Dates: 20th-24th January, Monday to Friday (concert 1:30pm friday)
📍 Location: Gis Int Music Dept. (park under the sails)
💵 Cost: $60 per day (discount for week booking)

🎸 Join a Band: Team up with others to create and rehearse your own tunes. All ages, all abilities
🎤 Learn Some Tunes: Prepare your band for a concert or music video
🎶 Choose a goal: learn or write some tunes / Record music / make a music video / perform live

🎼 Learn to play instruments: Drums / Electric guitar / bass / vocals / keyboards / synths? Ukulele

We’re excited to have the talented Matthew Armitage (Aus) join us for this year’s Holiday Programme! Matthew is a skilled guitarist, singer, and songwriter with a diverse career spanning jazz, rock, soul, funk, and RnB.

Classically trained but deeply immersed in contemporary music, Matthew has performed and recorded with bands like Odessa, Good Laika, Family Cactus, and a founding member of The Boomshack Band.

After 12 years of performing regularly in Australia, he’s now bringing his expertise to our programme, exclusively for this event.

Whether you're a guitarist or a singer-songwriter, Matthew’s workshops will offer invaluable insights and inspiration. He’ll be teaching group sessions for all levels and hosting a special advanced guitar workshop. Don’t miss the chance to learn from this experienced musician!
