The Lost Taonga of Tairāwhiti is an immersive 50-minute treasure hunt where your team will search for clues, crack codes, solve puzzles to find the long-lost taonga.

This is not a traditional escape room — you will not be locked in.

Your team has 50 minutes to work together, follow the clues and see how far you can get on your quest. And if you find yourself stuck, don't worry — we'll be there to give you a helping hand and keep your adventure moving!

Suitable for families, friends, school groups, team building and anyone who loves a good mystery. We recommend years 8 through 11 to be accompanied by at least one adult.

Evolution Theatre Company is still looking for three Māori artists to play the non-speaking roles of Tipuna in Waiora Te Ūkaipō. Must have kapa haka experience and a good heart and be able to commit to rehearsals and performances. Rehearsals Tuesday and Thursday nights and Sunday afternoons. Eight performances 20-30 August.
