Get ready for the weird and wonderful, a psychedelic sensory experience featuring things that glow, move, tickle the senses, make your body groove and your eyeballs tingle

Expect to hear the best of house, techno, psytrance and electronica injected into your earholes from Tricky and Still Thinking coming through from the mighty Mt Maunganui, and Dark Johnny bringing the other side of his Janus to stimulate your auditory sensors.

With a feast of things that glow, move, light up, transform and dazzle, such as UV reactive theming and lighting, lasers, colours, you will be grinning like a Cheshire cat through a looking glass. Dress up is not only encouraged but expected.

ROCK’EN’ROL is hitting independent music venues across Aotearoa this September and October - bringing communities together through live music, art and events while helping rangatahi enrol for the 2026 General Election.

Local hip-hop crews, punk bands, pop and folk artists, DJs, comedians, community leaders, rabble-rousers and local legends are all getting involved. The kaupapa is simple: make enrolling easy, visible and accessible—and put on a great event while we’re at it.

The final deadline to enrol or update your address is midnight Sunday 25 October. Enrolment closes before advance voting begins on Monday 26 October. Election Day is Saturday 7 November.

ROCK’EN’ROL is nationwide, non-partisan and focused on encouraging young people—particularly those aged 18–24—to take part.

We’re supporting the kaupapa in Gizzy. Deets to come 💛
