Well that was a resounding “YES” to whether we should pop back up again! So here’s the next question – where?

The lovely space we had last summer has been snapped up, so we’re on the hunt for a new home. We’re knocking on doors and making some calls, but we figured who knows Foxton better than you guys?

So please throw us some ideas! We’re open to all the wild and wacky suggestions you have so don’t be shy. (But if you are shy, just drop us a message.)

The main priority is having enough space for all these fabulous vendors we’ve got waiting in the wings, so BIGGER is BETTER!

We are keen as a bean to pop back up with fabulous finds for folk to fossick through, so this is YOUR chance to have YOUR say!

Last summer was such an amazing adventure, and thanks to the support of our wonderful locals, visitors, makers and curators, Fossick generated over $62,000 in sales for our vendors during the six months we were open.

We loved seeing people discover something a little different and a lot local, and we’d love to do it all again.

If you or someone you know makes or curates quirky and interesting things, tag the business page, link the website, or drop a photo in the comments.

If you’re interested in being part of Fossick in Foxton this summer, we’re looking at a similar model to last time - a weekly space fee, a small commission once sales reach a set threshold, and helping out in-store one day each month. With enough interest, we’ll put out an info sheet and open up applications.

So lovely people, whaddaya reckon? Are we doing this again???

Holy crap! I’ve just done the final numbers and over the 27 weeks we were open, you all put $62,000 through our little pop-up shop.

Sixty-two thousand dollars!!!

And here’s the best part—every single dollar of that went straight back into the pockets of locals making and sourcing their products.

Not big box retailers.

Not giant online corporations.

Our people. Our community. Our creators, makers, and shakers.

You chose local. You showed up. And you made a real difference.

There are so many incredible people to thank, and I’ll be sharing those over the next few days—but right now, this thank you is for YOU. For your support, your loyalty, and for backing something small and local in such a massive way.
