🎨✨ EXPO Artist Countdown – 23 Days to Go!
We’re excited to introduce the fabulous Sue Lund 👩‍🎨
Sue’s work is all about the magic of colour - its spontaneity, energy, and endless possibilities. With black and white as her foundation, each piece is carefully balanced, allowing bold colours to sing while still holding a sense of harmony and calm. Through layering, what begins as noise transforms into something beautifully in tune.
Based in Levin, Sue works full-time in her studio, creating expressive plein-air landscapes in acrylics that are refined back in the studio before heading to galleries and exhibitions. She also explores more playful territory - bringing colour to mannequins, animals, and unexpected objects, adding a touch of the absurd that collectors love.
Now reintroducing oils into her practice, Sue is pushing into larger abstract works that challenge space and imagination - each series evolving until it’s ready to be revealed.

🎨✨ EXPO Artist Countdown – 24 Days to Go!
We’re excited to introduce Stephanie Harlen, a Tauranga-based artist working in abstract realism.
Stephanie’s work sits at the intersection of emotion, memory, and movement. Each piece is created intuitively - unfolding layer by layer from a felt experience rather than a fixed plan.
Her paintings explore powerful contrasts: strength and softness, chaos and calm, fire and stillness. Through warm neutral tones and expressive forms, her work invites viewers to pause, reflect, and discover their own meaning within each canvas.
As a self-driven artist and solo mum, Stephanie embraces painting as both a creative outlet and a source of grounding and healing. Her fluid, immersive process mirrors the richness and complexity of life itself.
Her work resonates deeply with collectors - often reflecting something personal and meaningful, becoming part of new stories in the homes they go to. 💜
