🎂 It’s Toka Nui Studio’s first birthday on Monday and what better way than to celebrate by exhibiting some of my old and true pieces with some of my new series Floral Fantasies.

The layer upon layer on my paint palette reminds me of the layers of life experiences - some too much, others untouched and a whole lot of blending to get that life balance just right.

Shout out to my newest followers - I’m excited to have you onboard!

I took this photo in Wanaka over the summer as inspiration for my painting which I have begun but still has a lot of work to be done.

Kanuka is regarded as a taonga (treasure) representing protection, healing, resilience, and community well-being. I wish this for all my followers and especially my newbies.
