नाद शक्ति Nāda Shakti translates to mean 'the Power / Energy of Sound' - and this is your invitation to relax deeply & receive.
For this special Equinox gathering, I’m delighted to welcome Tomuri Spicer (Ngāpuhi) as our guest co-facilitator.
Tomuri is a student, tutor and ethnomusicology teaching fellow at the University of Otago, specialising in taonga pūoro and kapa haka pedagogies and performance techniques.
Tomuri will share the ancient sounds of taonga pūoro, bringing the voice of these beautiful Māori instruments into the ceremony.
Jasmin Amrita is a yoga teacher, somatic & ecstatic dance facilitator and founder of Soma Yoga, weaving embodied practice, breath, and sound to create spaces for connection, presence and transformation. Her work invites people to make space for new ways of being, beyond old patterns, to listen inwardly and to embody their wholeness.
Jasmin will be facilitating and adding sound with Crystal Bowls, shamanic drums & other world instruments.
Together, we’ll create a spacious evening of sound, stillness and resonance as we mark the turning of the season - moving through breath, mantra, gentle embodied practice, deep rest, sound and creative reflection. A space to listen inwardly, to acknowledge what is here, and to allow whatever is ready to shift, settle or emerge.
This is an invitation to step out of the pace of everyday life, acknowledge where you are, and make space for the season ahead.
