Some of our favourite pieces currently in the gallery from Neil Adcock. Neil's use of materials is always a surprise and a delight, from the anodised titanium of his huia, to the pounamu cabochon atop the faceted amethyst. These are pieces which truly walk the line between jewellery and sculpture.

We are absolutely in love with these latest pendants from Steve Myhre. Showcasing not just the beauty of New Zealand Pounamu, but also of jade from Canada and Siberia. The depth and richness of colour in these pendants is so striking, we've hardly been able to put them down since they arrived.

We are delighted to have these two new ceramic vases from artist Rachel Murphy in the gallery. These are part of her "First Light" series of work and I feel like she has captured that early morning light perfectly, not to mention the coolness of a frosty morning like today as well. Her attention to form, as well as her skill and restraint with the application of 24ct gold leaf combine to make these two beautiful and engaging vases, which invite you to imagine those landscapes, which are so immediately familiar to us all as New Zealanders.
