Yes, It's been a while I know. And no matter how many times Facebook tells me I need to add more content, life just seems to get in he way and I run out of time. Hopefully this will be the start of more pictures from around our gorgeous little part of the world.

Apologies also for the shoddy quality of some of these photos, this is the result of playing with settings on my camera I have no right to be tampering with. Soon to be fixed though and will be back to the usual standard I like to present.

So had our annual Uncle & Niece adventure day today, which was quite educational for a change. spent a few hours at the Royal Albatross Centre, always on the lookout for a good shot of them. Unfortunately the only one we seen was soundly sleeping (See the bottom right corner of the first photo). Awesome place to visit, and great for learning a bit of the history of the region.

So I spent a few hours at Taiaroa Head today, hoping to get an eluisive shot of the Orca that have been hanging around the Otago Harbour lately. Didn't see and of them, but I got a couple of shots of an amazing Albatross, this guy was just as exhilarating to photograph. Fingers crossed for some more good weather to do a bit more "Whale Watching"
