🌟 Techweek25 — Dunedin Festival Recap 🌟

We had an incredible time celebrating the diverse mix of tech-aligned workshops, career panels, research expos, and hackathons across the city!

— We kicked off the festival with a University of Otago and Otago Polytechnic evening showcase celebrating the research shaping the future of technology for ag and ag-adjacent applications.
— Startup Dunedin hosted Julie Curphy, Angela Edwards, Greg Peyroux, and Alex Black for a panel discussion exploring why Dunedin continues to punch above its weight in health tech.
— Showcasing the science driving commercial growth for advanced manufacturing, The MacDiarmid Institute hosted a mini-expo with speakers Christina McGraw, Anna Garden, Tony Lough, and David Hutchinson.
— Deloitte explored the ways technology is reshaping engineering, talent management, cloud cost control, platforms, cybersecurity, and operations. With Julene Marr, Everett Toews, and Elisja van Niekerk.
— Com2Tech explored alternative operating systems to Windows for devices becoming unsupported in October
— Dunedin Young Professionals and the Otago Rocketry Club built and launched DIY rockets.
