The Burlesque Rumble NZ New Zealand's only knock out Cabaret and Burlesque competition, for groups, duo and solo performers. "This is a super fun show for everyone! Amazing!

The Burlesque Rumble New Zealand is an annual burlesque and cabaret competition held in Dunedin, created and produced by Jersey Rhein Burlesque.



Dunedin's only national burlesque and cabaret event, held annually in March and produced by Dunedin's own Jersey Rhein. Successful applicants come prepared to battle their way through three rounds of co

mpetition, they choose their acts, they choose the order... but have they got what it takes to become the Ultimate Champion? I can only speak from a performer's perspective. Everyone backstage is lovely and super helpful. Jersey Rhein is a wonderful producer who does her darndest to make everyone comfortable. But surely, as an audience member, who wouldn't want to see amazing act after amazing act of burlesque? Sometimes you even get to see performers two or even three times! While all eyes are on The Burlesque Rumble NZ tonight for updates we want to share with you something else.

Tonight in Christchurch there is a very special walk, Relay for life!

2022 competitor Aurora Storm was diagnosed with breast cancer 29th of March 2023, just a year later. Aurora is the creator of Burlesque Otautahi and tonight her and her students have been walking their butts off in the hopes to raise money for the Cancer Society.

Aurora endured months of chemotherapy, and radiation, but tonight they celebrate her long Journey back to health.

And just recently another one of our burly babes from Nelson, Siren St Cyr got the news her latest mammogram came back clear and she was taken off chemo.
She's also doing relay for life, with her middle finger high cos f**k cancer, but she is incredibly determined to give back to the organisation that provided her with so much during her fight!
