First of all weather!

So far the weather for this weekend is looking good but there are a few showers and some wind predicted so please come prepared for all weather. We do recommend bringing waterproof boots and your rain coat. Spring Dunedin weather has the potential to be quite unpredictable. It can be hot and sunny and then suddenly rain. We have plenty of dry spaces and most workshops should be able to be moved inside if need be. Our café will be inside the hall near the main marquee, this space is warm and dry if you get cold. On this note please remember to bring warm clothes as it can get cold here in Dunedin.

As you drive into the general camping area we will have parking volunteers in high-vis to assist you to the right areas, please follow their instructions!
Some spots in the lower areas of the site are boggy, so if you are driving into the quiet camping area please stick to the designated camping zone and don't go out of bounds (you’ll get stuck!).

Arriving:
Please be very careful driving along Silverstream road! There are roadworks and we highly recommend using the high side of the ford bridge when exiting and entering the site
Please have your ticket ready before arriving as there is almost no data reception on site. We have EFTPOS available in the cafe, but gate sales and market stall purchases must be made in cash.
Please arrive before 9pm so you can be processed by the gate.
Do NOT bring your dog.
Do NOT bring any glass or fireworks.

Gate times:
Thurs 2pm-8pm
Fri 9am-9pm
Sat 9am - 11pm

Camping:
When parking up please be considerate of space, park cars together tightly and be considerate of others when setting up your camp. If you arrive early please park towards the back of the campsite to make room for others as they arrive on site.

Food Tickets:
If you have purchased a food ticket and have an allergy you must tell the kitchen as soon as you arrive. The kitchen staff will do their best to accommodate but we can not cover every allergy. Please let us know beforehand if you have a severe (life threatening) allergy and have purchased a food ticket. You can email [email protected] if you have any concerns.
We have a wonderful café that will be selling drinks and food so bring some cash/EFTPOS with you to purchase yummy treats.

Consent:
Circulation Festival takes consent very seriously. Please remember to ask before hugging, using people's props, emotional off loading, and being in people's personal spaces. If you see any behavior that you consider dangerous or concerning, approach one of our crew members (in high-vis) and we will deal with the situation at hand.

If you have any concerns around participants attending the event and you would like to lay a complaint about somebody's behavior please email [email protected] and somebody from our conduct committee will reach out. We strive to make sure each individual attending feels safe and heard.

This year Circulation has partnered with Breathing Space Aotearoa this year to help make our space safer and more inclusive. Breathing Space Aotearoa works with festivals to ensure that marquees are smoke and v**e free.

Some of our whānau are very sensitive to second hand smoke/v**e due to serious medical conditions, please help keep them safe in shared breathing spaces like marquees. There will also be children and expectant mothers present at our gathering who are affected, let’s keep ni****ne out of their systems.

Smoking or va**ng in doorways makes it hard for people affected to come and go, please move right away. If in doubt, please ask those around you if they mind.

Composting Toilets:
We will have one composting toilets this year to help manage the water and sewage demand on the site. Please consider using the composting toilets! They are clean and will be maintained over the festival. Please follow the instructions on how to use them. Or p*e on a tree and conserve water

Water Usage:
On the matter of water usage, please be respectful of how long you have a shower for. We love having hot showers available onsite, so please keep your showers to under 3 minutes long.

Accommodation:
If you have organized a cabin please tell the gate staff and they will direct you to where the cabins are, your name will be on the door of the cabin you have been given.

Days Passes:
Days passes are designed to give you a 24hr experience of Circulation, the ticket lasts from 10am - 10am the next day, as the day passes are not brought for a particular day, they are valid from the day you arrive till 10am the next day.
