As always, the MTD Open Mic Night is an open environment to come and enjoy local performers doing whatever kind of music they have to share. Come watch and support local performers and maybe sing if the mood takes you! We have microphones, setup for guitars and a sound system. We are delighted to have the amazing Charlotte McKay hosting.

We are also excited to be raffling 2 tickets to MTD's upcoming production of Legally Blonde! A catchy sugar rush of a show not to be missed! Come along to the raffle to score some bargain priced tickets!

Kia ora Dunedin music lovers!

MTD’s is hosting another Open Mic Night in August and it’s a special treat for local singers.

The wonderful Hayden Tee will be making a guest appearance! Our theme this month is “Bold Choices” – so pick something that feels bold, whatever that may look like for you and bring along a backing track and some keen audience members.

DM us to secure a spot as spaces for this event are strictly limited!

We’ll see you Friday 6 August 7.30pm at our South Dunedin Theatre.

Relax and have a fun with friends, sing ( if you want) and relax.

‘see ya 2020’ There is no theme, sing something that you enjoy singing.

Message for a spot or if you want there will be singing spots available on the night.

*Postponement Notice*

Whew, what a ride! The Musical Theatre Dunedin schedule went from hiatus to heavy and we are now nice and full with events. In the next few weeks we have a surge of openings and auditions, so have made the decision to postpone the July Open Mic Night to give enough space for everyone to bring their best quality.
