Subject: Update on Chicago Production

Kia ora koutou,

Thank you so much for your patience as we navigate a way forward following the loss of a great friend.

After much consideration, the DLT committee has made the difficult decision to postpone Chicago. While we had hoped to proceed, we feel that moving forward at this time would place undue strain on many of our theatre members. The health and wellbeing of our members remain our top priority, and we believe this decision is in the best interests of the theatre community.

We understand that this news may be disappointing for many. However, we believe that postponing the production will allow our community more time to heal and, when the time is right, to honour Mike’s vision in the most meaningful way possible.

It's not too late to become part of this local phenomenon. Email for your Audition Pack now.
We have extended the time slightly but you may need time to familiarize yourself with the Audition material, especially if you're after a leading role.
Unlike other shows we've done this isn't a "walk off the street" Audition. We need the best and that could be YOU!

What a great "Meet the Director" at the theatre today. So many great questions. It's clear to see people are passionate about this show. If you couldn't make it but still have questions email them through to [email protected].
