EDUCATION TO EMPLOYMENT - SPEED MEET INVITATION
Do you have job vacancies coming up in the next six months? Would employing a local young person be the perfect fit for you? The e2e (education to employment) group will be running speed meets where young people who are looking to leave school within the next six months have the opportunity to participate in job interviews with employers who are looking to employ.
Each employer will have 5 minutes with every young person to not only promote your business but potentially find a young person that fits your job. This also helps our young people practice their job interviewing skills and increases their awareness of potential career paths.
There will be four events;

Dargaville: 11th September, Dargaville High School, 9.30 am – 3.00 pm

Young people and employers will have the opportunity to mark YES, NO or MAYBE at the end of each interview. The data will then be collated and if there is a match then both the employer and young person (and their school) will be notified about the opportunity and can choose to follow up from there.
