Studio Muse Welcome to Studio Muse, we are an independent studio, in the heart of Dargaville, New Zealand. We are an art school for toddlers, children and adults.

this term I have chosen projects that can encourage learners to work more mindfully and carefully, encouraging them to take joy in taking the time.

If you have a child in a different school, and would like to have this program run there, please get in touch :D there are many options available and I am happy to tailor a course to the needs and creative outlet of your school.

I am happy to make up some craft packs if they are wanted, please send me a DM if that's you.
I also have been very generously donated more materials! I have an entire candle making kit for anyone who's been wanting to give that a go.
I also have an alarming amount of tiles! So if you've been wanting to retile your bathroom, or just want to have a go at making your very own mosaic, let me know who get you sorted. (I have alot not tiles than you see here, BTW)

I love making the sample projects for pottery terms 😁 this one is a weaving loom made from clay.
It also allows me to test them out. Sometimes things prove themselves to be more of a challenge than expected, and I need to consider that I'm teaching kids with an age range of 5- 12, and that motor skills and abilities are quite different.
So I play and test, sometimes u have two versions of the same project to accommodate, but at it's core, it's needs to be fun. Because if you're not having fun, what are you even doing? 😜
