Today TC was put to sleep. I will always remember him as the bright bubbly bird he was, tho sometimes grouchy. Not how he was after his injury. He put up an incredibe fight and will be dearly missed as will ‘boo’ his mate. I hope this situation can be used to raise awareness of the damage that rodents will do if proper prevention is not taken. Rest easy little guy and say hi to boo for us ❤️🕊️

Another update on Mister TC: he went back to Mill Road Vets on Thursday for another check-over, and they found he has some yeast buildup caused by the antibiotics he was on, so he is on something for that now. He is doing well, slowly returning to his usual grumpy self. He has started attempting to say some of his favourite things again, preening himself, gripping well with his feet, and eating small amounts of food on his own. Thank you to everyone who has shown their love and support for wee TC. ❤️

Tcs first bit of food on his own since the 12th august. Today is the 17th. Still a long way to go but so greatful he is making progress.

The bubbas starting to spend a small amount of time per day out of the incubator to play and eat solids if they want. All spoken for. We will have a hand full of Indian ringneck chicks for adoption in a few months if your interested please pm me for more info and send me some info about yourself and the set up your going to provide ❤️

We are providing an update regarding TC's condition. Following his collection from the veterinary clinic yesterday, TC has been diagnosed with a minor skull fracture. His treatment regimen consists of two pain relief medications and two antibiotics. Despite this, TC remains unable to feed independently. However, positive progress has been observed in his ability to grip with his feet and utilize his wings for mobility. Over the forthcoming weeks, we anticipate further progress as TC develops his strength and learns to function as a bird once more. The veterinary team at Mill Road Veterinary Clinic has provided exceptional care, for which we are deeply grateful. We extend our thanks to those who have made donations; receipts will be made available on Monday upon purchasing the necessary supplies.

A few days ago, the worst thing imaginable happened. Our beautiful Indian ringneck parrot, TC, was found injured in his aviary, unable to stand, eat, or move properly. Later in the day, we found his mate, Boo, dead and half-eaten by a rat. TC has been at Mill Road Vet Clinic and will be coming home tomorrow. however, he still needs crop feedings and is unable to use one leg due to damage to the neuro part of his brain. Only time will tell if he will make enough of a recovery to regain a good lease on life. As most of you know, we get zero funding other than generous donations from you guys. If anyone would like to help out with this month's feed bill, it would be greatly appreciated. 💕 i have just come out of surgery myself yesterday just taking it easy. Thank you guys and i hope to have better news soon
