We had the privilege of hosting a very special visit at The Waterworks recently 💙

As part of a wish journey with Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Zealand, Thomas and his crew took on the Waterworks Challenge — exploring the maze, flying through the forest, and facing a few splashy moments along the way.

It was one of those days that reminds you what this place is really about… fun, connection, and creating memories that stick.

A big thank you to Make A Wish Foundation NZ for the incredible work you do, and for letting us be a small part of such a meaningful experience.

🌿Sometimes the best days don’t happen behind a desk.🌿

We’re looking for a few volunteers to help us bring the lotus pond back to life at The Waterworks.

Fresh air, muddy boots, good people, and a chance to spend the day doing something real.

We’ll have lunch and coffee from the café, plus a double pass for a future visit waiting for everyone who helps out.

Bring:
🧤 Old clothes
🥾 Gumboots
🧢 A good hat
🙂 A decent sense of humour
