The folded over neckband. It fixes that wavy, stretched out look that can sometimes occur with hand knits. There are many methods. The easiest is just to knit a neckband twice and a smidge longer than you want, fold it inwards and stitch down along the pickup seam. Just ensure you cast off in a larger size needle

The Hollyford cardigan pattern 108 … if you can knit, purl, increase, and decrease, you can make this! It is worked flat from the bottom up.
