We're back!
Thursday 5 February, 7pm start at Clive Hall.

What do we sing? So many songs! Songs in Japanese, Bulgarian, African, Maori oh and English, Some you'll know but many you won't but don't be afraid. We learn with words on the big screen and breaking the song down, repetition, it's good for your brain and very quickly you'll be singing with confidence.

Can you bring a musical instrument? Yes please. We are accompanied by piano, guitar and occasionally drum, violin, flute, ukelele, HB Community Orchestra.

Can you bring children? Yes, please don't forget to take them home. Older children seem to have a better attention span.

Don't know if you're an alto or a bass? Come along and find out

We sing for joy and we're here for our community.

See you Thursday.

It will soon be choir time again. Another year of harmonies, laughs and learning.

You are one of over 500 people following this page, if you're not one who's made it through the door yet, what could we do differently to support you to sing for joy?

There is so much tough stuff happening in our world right now and it is hard to know what to do... We invite you to come and join us to sing songs of peace at St Andrews Church, Hastings. It is a way that we can unite together in solidarity with all who are suffering right now in our world. Boiboi Tevivi Daniel will be leading us in song teaching easy songs to sing (even if you feel you can't sing - you can!). We are thrilled that local Hastings man Mike Seawright, founder of ReliefAid, is joining us. Even if you can only come for a short time between work/school and dinner to sing a couple of songs that is totally cool! Koha to go to ReliefAid for their work in both Gaza and Ukraine. After singing we invite you to join us for a very simple supper of bread, hummus and water, being mindful that even those are hard to find in war torn areas. Monday April 22nd 5.30-6.30 at St Andrews Church, 300 Market St. Please share!

Welcome back to our Community Choir singers. It was great to be back singing together post Cyclone Gabrielle. Although our Napier singers were confronted with a brief Waitangi bridge closure. We were able to overcome that and sing the night away. Huge thanks to community choirs around the country with fundraising efforts towards the Disaster Mayoral fund. we are forever grateful!
