What TO DO WITH YOUR OLD TVs.
Finally we can offer a pick up service
Wairarapa TV services will pick up your old TVs, and recycle them through Council approved resource centre.

CRT pick up from a lazy $20 or 3 for $50
We also will pick up all other "E Waste" computers, dvds vcrs etc etc.

Spend $200 on our services and we will take one TV for FREE

Can someone please explain why it has taken nearly a whole year to NOT have an E Waste programme in Wairarapa.
There was a press article in October last year Cr Peterson stated that a contract had been negotiated and a service will be up and running buy Christmas.

We are still waiting, Where has the Government money gone that has been paid to councils to get these services up and running.
The one situation that you Councillors did not want to happen, is happening on an increasing scale.
People are digging holes and dumping their old TVs or are putting them on Bonfires. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?
DO the 3 councils have something to hide ?? where has the funding gone?
it appears the councils have their head in the sand and are waiting for the government buy back WHY? who is gaining from this. Not the people of Wairarapa and not the environment. and what jobs have the so called contractor created??????
When are these council elections,

We at "Wairarapa TV Services", would like to help the people of Wairarapa, but all we can do is tell our customers to ring the council and ask what to do with their 3 old TVS in the garage.
I have no problem directing customers to the MDC website and getting them to call Cr Peterson or Holmes direct.
Buy now we could have been putting funds back into the community as per our original proposal, but apparently the councillors are not concerned about giving back to the community, just taking from it.

WITH ONLY A FEW WEEKS TO GO, DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH OLD TVS.
Ring the Masteton council, they have a policy in place and supposed drop off points 12 MONTHS AGO. where has the specific government funding gone
