THE GALAXY — A NEW CHAPTER IS BREWING (Concept Brews on tap assist with the process)

Hi everyone! Here’s a little update from us here at The Galaxy.

Many of our regulars will know that some of the Galaxy crew have been off on an island adventure — sailing, fishing and following up on projects in the Pacific. Between ocean crossings and island life, we’ve also been dreaming up the next chapter for our little corner of Christchurch.

Now those ideas are taking shape, and we’re excited to share a taste of what’s coming.

A Chocolate Paradise, Wh**ky, Pinball : A b**r garden. Multiple street food stalls. New flavours. A few unexpected extras.

Think cocoa. Think chocolate. Think tuna. Think fruity Pacific cocktails enjoyed outside with good mates, good food and good music.

We want to bring some of that island warmth and creativity home to The Galaxy: a place to settle in, try something delicious, play a few games and let an afternoon turn into an evening.

To make it happen, we’re planning to close temporarily in the coming weeks - (we will let you know when) while we get the space ready for its next chapter. We’ll share the closing date, reopening plans and more sneak peeks as things come together.

At its heart, it’s still your Galaxy — quirky, welcoming and full of things to play, with room for a few more adventures.

Thank you to our crew, regulars and everyone who keeps this place humming. We can’t wait to welcome you back and show you what we’ve been cooking up.

The Galaxy — press pause, then get ready to push play.
