It is with great sadness that we have decided to fold Atlas Voices. This has not been an easy decision to make. We want to thank all of the singers who have made the past 10 years of concerts so special. We'd especially like to thank the audience. You sold out just about every show and stood at the end for all of them! You are the reason Atlas Voices was started!

Just a small update: Atlas Voices has taken an enforced hiatus for the last 14 months due to Covid. Given the ups and downs of the situation we have decided to move this year's repertoire into next year. Hopefully, though, we will present our ever-popular Christmas and carol sing-a-long concert in December.

Many details about next year will be coming soon so stay tuned.

In the mean time, we hope you all stay safe.

Warmly,

Atlas Voices Ensemble

And one more performer bio - coming in just before the curtain rises on this afternoon's matinee performance of Considering Matthew Shepard is Will Lynch!

Will has been performing and singing since 2015 and has sung with Showbiz, the CSO and with Atlas Voices. His main passion though is barbershop and he's been part of national award-winning quartets and choruses, as well as qualifying to compete internationally with his quartet Promenade.

Atlas Voices will be performing Considering Matthew Shepard TODAY at 2.30pm and again at 7.30pm and it's not too late to book your tickets online and take advantage of the online discount. If our rehearsals are anything to go by this is going to be an event those who are fortunate enough to attend will never forget. Tickets can be purchased at this link - https://events.humanitix.com/atlasvoices
Discounts are available for bookings of 10 people or more. There will also be door sales for both concerts - if there are any seats left!

Today is performance day but there's still time for another performer bio - this time for the amazing Catherine Hay who will absolutely knock your socks off when she takes the spotlight for the incredible number 'Keep it Away from Me'.

Christchurch based, Catherine works as a professional singer and actor, with a particular passion for musical theatre. After graduating with a Master's Degree in Psychology from the University of Canterbury, she went on to retrain in performance at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City.

Catherine's performance highlights to date include As You Like It (3rd Bear), Jesus Christ Superstar (The Court Theatre), Waiting in the Wings; He Says, She Says (Blackboard Theatre Collective), and We Will Rock You; Broadway Hitmen; Les Misérables (Showbiz Christchurch).

Catherine is also a TOSCA accredited singing teacher and when not performing, teaches students privately and through Studio 42, Christchurch School of Music and Greenstone Academy.

In June this year she will be performing as Elphaba for New Plymouth Operatic Society's production of Wicked.
