The event at the Lincoln Event Center was absolutely beautiful. My stall quickly became one of the most popular, with many people commenting, "Wow, this is so clever."

I'm also thrilled to have brought this 600-year-old traditional Chinese folk art technique to New Zealand and had the opportunity to showcase it to the public.

Thank you to the lovely staff who found me on social media and extended the invitation. I truly appreciate it.

Thanks for all Christchurchers
Today’s event was very successful.

I was told I am talented. Thanks everyone!

This edible art trace back to the Ming dynasty.
It is an exquisite form of traditional Chinese folk art that beautifully merges culinary skill with artistic creativity. This craft involves the delicate process of pouring hot, liquid sugar onto a marble or metal surface to meticulously create two-dimensional objects. These objects range from intricate designs of flora and fauna to representations of mythological figures and daily life, all sculpted with a swift, precise hand as the sugar cools and solidifies into vibrant, edible art.

Today, Chinese Sugar Painting is celebrated not just as a snack but as a vibrant representation of Chinese creativity and heritage. It continues to captivate the hearts of many, from locals to tourists, who marvel at the skill of the artisans and the sweetness of the tradition. Through each delicate piece, sugar painting offers a taste of China's rich cultural legacy, inviting people of all ages to savor its flavors and appreciate the artistry and history it embodies.

Thanks for all your supports.
