50 years ago I went to see the new release movie Harold & Maude. It layer gained a cult following. Just saw it again for the zillionith time. It is still my favourite movie.

Very sad to hear the news of Elizabeth Orr's death. A great mind and generous heart. Her work on pay equity was strong and consistent through some rough times. My sympathy to her family. May she rest in peace.

Very sorry to hear that the Redcliffs Four Square is closing permanently from 24th April. Encouraged to hear Foodstuff's commitment to supporting the staff. I hope that Heath and all the team there are able to find new roles that continue to benefit from their helpful attitudes and great work ethic.

Couldn't be sadder to hear that our wonderful Minister has cancer. She used her illness to thank family and friends for their support and to remind all women to have their smear. Classy response from a very classy woman. Go well Kiri.

The Mt Pleasant Pottery Group has officially opened its new home. They are at Redcliffs Park (where the school used to be!) in the revamped classrooms. They have an exhibition open tomorrow (Saturday) between 10am and 2pm. It's well worth a look!. Beautiful work for sale. Hope you can get there.
