We're throwing caution to the wind, literally, and pushing forward with Session 6 this Sunday, no matter the weather. Fingers crossed those gale-force winds are just a rumour! This week, as well as having a fantastic line up of talented muscians we're stoked to welcome Diamond Harbour Rugby Club, who'll be firing up the barbie for a sausage sizzle fundraiser. Let's get behind our local club, a volunteer-run club that's been part of our community since 1969.

Because of the weather we'll have a 6th session on the 15th February.
Unless there are gale force winds, we are going to put a show on, rain or shine.
Bring some waterproofs and warm clothes if it's raining.

We're one step away from the final session, and session 5 is shaping up to be a goodie 🙏🏼. Thank you, weather gods! Hope you have all been enjoying your Waitangi weekend. Enjoy yourselves if you are heading to Nostalgia Festival today, make sure you drink lots of water and wear those sun hats as we want you all well and refreshed for tomorrow. Live at the Point is cancelled tomorrow, 25th January 2026, as the rain radar currently shows that rain is locked in for the rest of the weekend. We are hoping for an extra session to make up for the cancelled ones and will let you know closer to the time the dates.
Here are a couple of great rainy day board game recommendations if you are now at a loss for what to do with your Sunday:
1. Codenames, 2. SCRAWL, 3. Trivial Pursuit Decades 2010 to 2020 (if you want a challenge that tests friendships).

Well, the Eastern are playing tomorrow, so would you wager your rain boots that there won't be rain? We are keeping our fingers crossed that the weather improves and we have a more favorable day tomorrow for our performers. Good morning. Live at the Point is going ahead this afternoon, rain or shine. An incredible lineup of musicians awaits, and Bangkok Wok will be serving up delicious food, complemented by our bar offering Cassels beer, Pegusus Bay wines, and refreshing non-alcoholic drinks.
