Hello lovely TwinkleStarrs families!

It will be 18 years this coming term since I started TwinkleStarrs.

I was thinking of you all yesterday as I got to take my granddaughter to the Wiggles.

I’ve never seen them live before and we had such a fun time!

Hello Twinklestarrs Families! How are you all?
I hope all is well. I miss you guys!!

Today is Helen's 90th Birthday! How awesome is that. We are going to her birthday party on the 1st August. If you would like to send a card - I can take them to the party with me. Pop a card in the post to P O Box 35-244, Shirley, Christchurch 8640. I will clear my box on the day and make sure she gets them :)

Happy New Year to you all. Seems a bit strange that I won’t be leading music from next week.

But I will be at St Albans Pre-School Music group at St Albans Uniting Church, Cnr Knowles St and Nancy Ave next Tuesday morning 4th February at 9.30am.

The weekly fee is a donation of food for Aratupu Preschool. 😀

It’s a wrap! Today we had our last ever TwinkleStarrs!
Thank you to all the families, parents, caregivers, nannies, and especially thank you to all of the little people we have got to know over the last 13+ years.

It was awesome to catch up with some previous TwinkleStarrs families today.

I am keeping this page open so please post news here from time to time so we can keep in touch.
It’s been our privilege to be a small part of your children’s lives.

Hello Everyone. A reminder that our Farewell Party is on tomorrow Sunday 15th 2-4pm.

Letting you all know that the church that runs this group - St Andrews at Rangi Ruru (STARR) is closing soon. And the final service is on Sunday 27th October at 10am.

You are all invited to the final service. If enough families are interested in coming, we could do a small TwinkleStarrs spot early in the service. Please let me know.

As a result of this it was decided at the last Parish Council meeting that Helen and I will step down from TwinkleStarrs and we will have our last music day on Tuesday 10th December.
We may have a break up the following weekend so all past and present members can attend to say goodbye.
This has been a tough decision after 13 years but it seems to be time. Helen is ready to retire at 89!!

Thanks to all the wonderful families we have met over the last 13 years!

Yesterday was an end of an era for TwinkleStarrs!
The Skinner-Judd family have been coming to music for 12 years and now they are all at school!

Georgie, Annabel, Claudia and Phoebe.
We will miss you guys.

Thank you Amanda Judd for all your support over these 12 years. Helping me buy instruments, making morning teas, your kindness to all of us and your generosity.
