Some highlights from Saturday thanks to Charlie Rose Creative 〰️

A massive thank you to everyone who brought this dream to life. To name a few, Chloe + Stef, Creative New Zealand, Levings School Of Dance, Exchange Christchurch - XCHC, Laura Lee Lovely, Siobhan Sainte, Dillastrate, Alistair, Sam, Michael, BounceNZ, Maarten Schrader, Ghost Brewing Co. + more..

This is just the beginning for The Output Project. The response from all of you and the feeling between everyone working on this event has blown us away and we will keep growing and working to share The Output Project as far + wide as we can.

We have to give credit and gratitude to every single artist involved in this event. To see so many creatives in one space sharing their expression, their output.. It was beyond words. Dance, visuals, music, design all shared with such authenticity + passion. Thank you.

"Creativity for me is an exhale breath. I find it in making music, in practising yoga, in cooking food, in parenting, in teaching what I’m passionate about - sharing the lessons I’ve grown through.

Acknowledging myself as a creative type of person helps me to understand who I am and what I need when life gets hard. I express myself in lots of ways without a need to be best at any one thing, but to stay open + receptive to all the growth and challenges that come my way.

I would write music and words just to get the thoughts out of my brain and turn them into something beautiful, helpful and true. Something outside of myself."

CHLOE LEVINGS 〰️ Co Creator.

"When I hear a piece of music I let my mind wander and my body just follows. That’s my process of creation, it’s very intuitive. I am drawn to dancers filled with emotion, the raw authentic artist that expresses their soul through movement.

Dance has released my most painful experiences and I feel so blessed to be able to teach other students how to connect to that space to heal themselves."

Everything else we do in this world seems to be measured up to other things, quantified, whereas creativity still has a element of mystery to it. It’s so much harder to define someone’s creative work or judge them on it, because everyone sees it differently.
