This week is National Volunteer Week! To celebrate, we want to give a big thank you to our amazing team of volunteer ushers from the Friends of The Court Theatre.

Not only do they usher shows, but they also provide opening and closing night drinks, run backstage tours, sponsor shows, and so much more. Last year alone, 400 ushers gave 11,598 volunteer hours. We simply could not put on shows without them.

Dive into the exciting world of sword fighting and explore the fun of slapstick and physical comedy in our Holiday Programme for Teen Performers, this July at The Court Theatre.

Guided by fight choreographer and circus performer David Ladderman, students will learn how to use these skills in various theatrical styles and present a series of short skits to whānau at the end of the week.

Spend a fun-filled week at The Court Theatre with our holiday programmes!

Our holiday programmes provide a fun, relaxed environment for the imagination to run free as children learn fundamental drama skills, make new friends and bring exciting characters and fun scenarios to life, culminating in a showcase for whānau on the last day.

Our Young Performer and Young Screen Acting holiday programmes are already full for the July holidays, but we have spaces available for Little Performers (age 5-7) and Teen Performers (age 13-16). These are filling fast, so if you’re interested make sure you get in quick!
