That’s a wrap on Bundle Baby in Ōtautahi for this year!

This wee show had a lot of love and care and effort put into it by so many excellent humans:

Massive thanks to our beautiful gentle clowns Emma .newborn.isnt.herself and Trubie .dylan and to our resourceful, organiser and baker extraordinaire, operator Isla . And our Chief Usher .camp for welcoming our audience in with so much care.

Cubbin Theatre Company shows are built for little ones from the ground up, with zero pressure and zero perfect behaviour required. Sit on mats near the performers or on chairs at the back, whatever suits your family. The space is accessible for those with limited mobility, and there’s no participation required, your child can watch quietly, get involved, or do a bit of both.

Their current show, Bundle Baby, is a gentle, playful experience for ages 1 to 3 (older siblings welcome too), set around the everyday world of the laundry basket. Two performers use simple objects and games to spark curiosity and connection, while you get to share in your little one’s delight from right beside them.

The performance runs 25 to 30 minutes, plus 10 to 15 minutes of playtime at the end.

Cubbin Theatre Company, who earlier this year had a wheako showing at the PANNZ Arts Market with their work Bundle Baby, are now on tour!

Bundle Baby is a gentle and playful theatre experience for babies aged 1 to 3 years. Set around the familiar world of the laundry basket, two performers explore simple objects and games to spark curiosity, laughter and connection.

You can catch this joyful show from 2 – 6 Sept in Ōtautahi and 30 Sept – 4 Oct in Tāmaki Makaurau.

Set around the familiar world of the laundry basket, Bundle Baby is a gentle and joyous theatre experience for little ones and the grownups who love them.
Two performers with tiny cloths, sheets, duvets and a basket invite babies to watch, giggle and join in if they wish.
