Sooo excited to be traveling again! My first stop was to congratulate Tom Armstrong at Aero Strategies Group on the fantastic new training centre in Raleigh, North Carolina and of course, for taking delivery of a PacSim ProJet NextGen FTD. The training facility can accommodate multiple ground school schedules and provides exclusive use of all onsite amenities. Training is geared to Pilot Pathway Program Training, Jet Transition Courses, Crew Resource Management & Human Factors, SIT (Systems Integration Training), Human Factors/CRM and Assessments for Pilot Recruitment.

Congratulations to Kenneth Yap and his team at Asia Aeronautical Training Academy (AATA) in Johor, Malaysia. Based on the Boeing 737, AATA will use the FTD for Jet Transition training, providing quality preparation for their students applying for airline positions.
Thanks for the opportunity to allow PacSim to be part of your journey!

We are delighted to welcome Tom Armstrong and Aero Strategies Group into the PacSim family… ASG have selected the PacSim ProJet FTD (Boeing 737) as their first flight simulator training device. The new sim centre will open this summer in Raleigh, North Carolina. Major US airlines including United, Spirit, Frontier, UP and FedEx are hiring again this year and more pilots means more training. ASG will be focussed on bridging the flight training/proficiency gaps faced by flight crews and operators within the industry. , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

PacSim has bounced into 2021 with an early sale to the International Aviation Academy of New Zealand (IAANZ). The device is another NextGen EuroJet PS4.5 FTD based on the Airbus A320 and will be used for Jet Transition, MCC and pre-Type Rating training.
IAANZ are based at Christchurch International Airport and are focussed on building their business with more international students. As NZ shapes up as the perfect destination for pilot training post-Covid, this is a great example of two Kiwi companies working together to strengthen NZ’s aviation sector. Thanks to Jeremy Ford and his great team at IAANZ..

The aviation sector is tough going at the moment, but it was handover day to Dan Marouff, CEO of Tri-Star Aviation in Houston, Texas!
Thanks, Dan for taking delivery of your Next Gen PacSim ProJet PS4.5 FTD. Based on the Boeing 737 the simulator is certified to FAA AATD and can be used for credits for CPL and ATP as well as conducting Jet Orientation and Jet Transition Training to produce airline-ready pilots.
With the announcements of new Covid-19 vaccines this week it’s the shot in the arm that the aviation industry was looking for and Tri-Star will be ready for the ‘second-wave’ of pilot recruitment in 2021-2022!

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and for a limited time, PacSim have launched two new low-cost flight simulators. Based on the Airbus A320 and the Boeing 737, the new EuroJet and ProJet FJ2000 Lite Cockpit Procedures Trainers are aimed at helping flight schools, universities and even airlines to be ready when airlines are back flying at full strength.

Tens of thousands of pilots have lost their jobs or been stood down and the FJ Lites are a great way to keep their skills up. Priced from only USD$99,500 (even less for private use), PacSim have designed the FJ Lite to be installed by the operator with almost no technical skills in less than a day.
The FJ Lite is available for purchase until 31st December 2020.

PacSim are proud to announce the "Next Generation" of Flight Training Devices.... Spacious, functional and sleek design.
The team in New Zealand have been busy over the last 18 months and especially during the Covid-19 lockdown… Our new simulators are available in generic and FAA and EASA certified versions for Airbus A320 and Boeing 737.
Now is the time to re-evaluate your simulator requirements and consider FTD’s as the way to improve your flight training and reduce your costs. Up to 60% of type-rating training and 80% of MPL training can be achieved on FTD’s instead of FFS

Last month we attended the World Aviation Training Symposium (WATS) in Orlando, Florida, where we unveiled our new Airbus A320 FJ2000 Cockpit Procedures Trainer. This training device heralds a new era for PacSim with the first EASA (European) Certified A320 product. Designed as a completely tactile replacement for the touchscreen trainers, we attracted the attention of many airlines and training centres. The FJ2000 is now being certified in the USA under the FAA regulations to create even wider appeal.
