Captured on the edges of light and cloud, this series reveals the stark, haunting beauty of Qaqortoq and its surrounding bays—where mountains dissolve into mist and the sea breathes in low tones. Paired with moody piano, each frame stands alone, yet shares the same quiet soul.

One of my favourite memories from Greenland. Four of us cruise ship photogs, chipped in $100 and convinced a local fisherman in Qaqortoq to take us out to this iceberg. He got us right up to it AND touched it.

There’s something surreal about moments like that… no crowds, no commentary, just silence, salt air, and a towering wall of ancient ice.

I thought I would throw in some of the images from the day.

While revisiting my travel photos, I stumbled upon this enchanting view of Nidaros Cathedral in Trondheim, Norway. Towering above the lush trees, it reminded me of a magical fairy tale castle. It’s funny how our tastes and perspectives evolve over time, allowing us to appreciate overlooked moments anew.
