We're so excited to welcome this incredibly talented young artist back to our stage! A few years back Josette used to perform at Darkroom all the time. Since graduating from the Ara music programme her musical talent has taken her around the world, and it's an absolute honour to have her return to lil ol' Darkroom this Friday night!!
She actually played with one of her bands, Pixie Platoon, at the first ever Scattered Sounds and now she returns with her solo project for the 6th instalment in this beautiful series.
Josette crafts hook-laden songs that blur the lines between rock, indie pop, and R&B. With irresistible melodies, tight grooves, and heartfelt storytelling, she creates music that feels both nostalgic and fresh. After spending recent years touring internationally, she's delighted to be back home in Aotearoa, reconnecting with local audiences and bringing a new chapter of songs to the stage. Her unique personality and electric stage presence invite audiences into a world where honesty, rhythm, and a little bit of magic collide.
