Waitangi Weekend Weaving started with a stunning day at Okains Bay Museum with Miss B enjoying the festivities and the beach.

Beautiful local harakeke to extract muka from thanks to the lovely Judy & B got to try on Ema's beautiful mahi and now wants her own!

I set myself a wee challenge since I enjoyed my traditional tukutuku panel so much and I entered into Darfield Art Week in the final week of registrations

It's been a while since I entered an art show, let alone made works to be hung. But I enjoyed playing with different materials and practicing my new toi.

These mini will be on display at the Darfield Rec Centre from Saturday 11 Oct till the following Sunday 19 Oct along with a heap of other local Malvern artists.
