It’s that time again Pokémon Trainers.
This years Inter-Island tourney!

Get ready for some Mega Evolution Battles on Sunday 19 April!

Battles will be on Pokémon Champion using Regulation M-A. BO3. Swiss + Top Cut.
We will be using Limitless for running the tournament.

We will see you online or if you’re in Christchurch, come and hang out with us at Shirley Library.

Registration for the 2026 Auckland Pokémon Special Championships is opening soon. Please follow the links below to register for your chosen Pokemon Special Championship event.

Spaces are limited so we will be instituting the following procedure for players to confirm attendance for the event. After registering your name, you will be sent a payment request to finalise the registration at a later date. Please make payment in $NZD within 48 hrs of the request, as we may need to free up unpaid registrations for others who wish to participate.

Hello Pokémon Trainers!

SPC IS BACK! After a long hiatus, Play NZ! is proud to officially present you the Auckland Special Championships as part of the 2026 Pokémon Championship Series.

This is a 2 day (24th-25th January 2026) event hosted by Card Merchant West City, and will include TCG, VGC and GO.

There are Championship Points to be earned, and of course exclusive invitations to the 2026 Worlds hosted in San Francisco, California.
