Written mostly in Russian, with a small sprinkle of English — including the sarcastic line “I will follow like a sheep” — the song was written by QueenB for her niece Bella, who recently turned 16 and is beginning to think about her future career.
QueenB wanted her niece to feel free to choose a path that truly speaks to her heart, rather than feeling pressured into something more “practical,” as she once experienced herself at that age.
Through vivid imagery in the lyrics, QueenB reflects on a childhood where she felt like “a puppet on strings,” listening to everyone else instead of trusting her own voice — a journey that transforms in the second verse:
"I learned to fight for my dreams, moving closer to my goals.
Now I am like a tank —I can only go ВПЕРЁД!" (FORWARD!)

QueenB is an energetic New Zealand-based singer-songwriter who blends rock, pop, musical theatre, & women-powered storytelling into her original stage work. Living in New Zealand — a country she admires for its freedom of expression — inspired her to pursue her dreams. With the support of her family, she completed a three-year music degree and now runs the flourishing QueenB Music & Drama school while continuing to create songs, poetry, and plays.
