Kia ora!
We are so excited to announce the Anima Voce choirs, coming to you in Christchurch this October, 2022. Below is all the information that you need.

Your choir options are as follows:

1. SSA Choir: A larger non-auditioned choir with higher range voices (Soprano and Alto), working on beginner material. For those who want to experience a choir, want to enjoy community, or just sing! Sight-reading not required, but there will be an opportunity to learn/sing with notation.

2. TB Choir: A non-auditioned choir with lower range masc. voices (Tenor and Bass), working on beginner material. For those who want to experience a choir, want to enjoy community, or just sing! Sight-reading not required, but there will be an opportunity to learn/sing with notation.

3. Chamber Choir: small auditioned choir working on intermediate/advanced material. For those who have a desire to expand sight-reading, blending, and intricate harmony skills.
AUDITIONS: Venue shared at expression of interest, held over weekend of October 1/2.
Sign-up sheet to follow.

Rehearsals: Monday nights, between 6-9 pm
Run time: Monday 10 October to Monday 28 November (8 weeks), with additional Friday night performance.
Venue: Auditorium in St. Albans (exact location provided upon enrolment)
Cost: 125$ per person for the course of the 8 weeks + materials
Performance: we will hold a concert for all three choirs, for you to invite family and friends on the 2nd of December.

Official enrolments are open! They close on the 26th of September (or sooner, depending on availability of spots). For the entry-level non-audition choirs, we will operate on a first come/first serve basis as there are limited spots. Commitment is solidified through payment, please express interest via email or message and we will send through any details needed. Please specify what choir you are interested in when contacting us :)
