This artwork is a heartfelt retirement tribute to my good friend and workmate, Paul, celebrating the end of a remarkable career in aviation.
Through a finely detailed graphite caricature, I captures Paul’s warm personality and character. The playful depiction of Paul sitting on the V2500 aircraft engine brings a sense of humour and personality to the piece, while the intricate details of the engine reflect the technical world he know so well.
More than a portrait, this artwork represents friendship, camaraderie, dedication, and memories built through years.

The simple message, “Happy Retirement, Paul! All the best,” expresses genuine appreciation and best wishes for the journey ahead.

A career may come to an end, but the friendships lasts a lifetime! 👨🏼‍🎨

In My Studio - Where Art Comes to Life
Surrounded by paintings, brushes, and colours, I find my quiet place in the studio. Every canvas tells a different story, and every brushstroke is part of a journey.

In this moment, I am working on a peaceful countryside landscape, capturing the beauty of nature-the open sky, flowing water, green fields, and gentle sheep. For me, painting is not simply about creating an image; it is about capturing a feeling, a memory, and a moment of peace.

My studio is where imagination becomes reality, where patience meets passion, and where a blank canvas slowly becomes a story.

This is my journey as an artist-one brushstroke, one canvas, and one story at a time.

This portrait has become a cherished reminder of the man we loved so dearly. Every line, shade, and brushstroke now carries even deeper meaning, reflecting a life well lived and a heart that gave so much to others. Through it, I honor not only his memory but also the values he instilled in us—faith, compassion, humility, and love.

This became more than a painting; it became a conversation between memory and healing. It inspired me to keep moving forward, to find purpose in each day, and to carry my father's spirit with me as I continue my journey through life.

With my Christian faith, I praise the Lord for giving my beloved father a wonderful and colorful life. A true testimony of love to his family and friends, he leaves behind memories that will be treasured forever.
