Taal Volcano in the Philippines is a truly spectacular natural wonder. Although it continues to erupt and cause tremendous hardship and destruction for those living nearby, its magical beauty remains something we are proud to share with the world. This is one of the reasons I chose to paint it — to spread positivity and remind everyone around the area of the beauty and strength that still endure amidst challenges. 🙏🇵🇭👨🏼‍🎨

Sitting amidst my solo art exhibition, fresh from a two-week vacation in the Philippines, I’m reminded of the powerful impact that visual art can have when shared with the world. This experience fuels my hope to create more works that not only express my vision, but also inspire others along the way. 👨‍🎨
