And now a new chapter begins!
After 10 years of being in the wilderness (so to speak) I now have a dedicated artist studio. Over these years I've managed to produce some pieces from a spare bedroom or a draughty garage, but there's nothing like having your own space.
During this period we've searched the South Island trying to find an unusual building we could convert into an artist studio. We've looked at old banks, post offices, even an old theatre and a couple of fire stations. And last year we found a property that ticked all the boxes.
We are the proud owners of a community hall, but I'll talk about this project as we go along.
So today is my first day in my new studio and I feel wonderful.
I was surprised at how difficult it was to start. Where to begin!
I wrote this
"Just Begin - nothing has to be good!"
