A theatre program in Blenheim for students who are looking to sharpen their skills on stage

Who wants to come hang out with us on Friday evenings?

We're looking for some fun friends to join us at our Goodly Creatures Adult Improv Club in Blenheim. We'd love you to take part in our next 8-week group!

This is a weekly group for adults who want to laugh, meet new people, try something different, and finish the week with a whole lot of fun. No experience is needed, just a willingness to jump in and give it a go!

Each session is full of games, activities, and plenty of laughs as we explore the world of improv together in a relaxed and encouraging environment. Our first term was so much fun and we've made some amazing new friends and we would love to have you be a part of it.

Our group will be held on Fridays at 5:15pm to 6:30pm in Blenheim. Our first session will be at the start of term 4, Friday 16th of October. It's also totally fine if you can't make it to all 8 sessions, as you will easily be able to jump right back in wherever you left off.
We're also offering a 2-session risk-free trial, so if you decide it's not for you after your first two sessions, we'll happily refund your registration fee. This means there's really no reason not to give it a go!

Actors wanted: We're looking for some young actors or actors-to-be (ages 11-18) to join us for term 4 this year.
We're putting on Shakespeare's famous fairytale, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and we would love to have your child be a part of it! It is going to be a lot of fun putting this play together, so come along and join us!

Come and see... Uh... Actually, I'm not sure what we're doing.

Oh well! Come and see it anyway! It might be a mystery, a fairytale, a western, a bold innovation in Brechtian style that forces you into an existential crisis, - probably not that last one, - but literally anything else... and mainly, seriously funny!

Improvisational theatre is so rewarding, and I'm thrilled to be sharing this experience with my new friends, and with you. You can be my new friend too if you want. Come along and have a laugh with us... or at us. We don't mind!

We have seen some fun characters over the last few years, made lots of cherished memories, and shared lots of laughs.

The fun continues!

On September 11th and 12th, at 7:00pm, we'll be presenting The Servant of Two Masters. We'd love to have all of you come along and join us. This is a FREE event, not to mention, it's going to be a FUN event as well.

Ready for a LAUGH OUT LOUD event?

Carlo Goldoni's timeless classic, The Servant of Two Masters, is the perfect recipe for a good time. Mixed in with his gloriously chaotic characters and all of their shenanigans, we present an assortment of some other very delectable ingredients: some top-notch physical comedy, enormously delightful personalities, masks, mayhem, and a few more catastrophically hilarious surprises lovingly prepared by our very own GOODLY CREATURES.

This play is sure to be fun for the whole family. So don't miss out! Come and see us! We'd love to see you! ENTRY IS FREE!

The Goodly Creatures will impress you with their quick wits and improvisational skills as they bravely undergo the panic-inducing task of making stuff up on the spot. Bring your family, bring your friends, bring that guy named Trevor you once met at a barbecue who insisted he could identify any song after hearing just one note, then spent forty-five minutes confidently misidentifying Happy Birthday while eating someone else’s sandwiches.

Entry is FREE and everyone is WELCOME! Just bring a smile, and a sandwich, if you managed to get it back.
