Up to 30 volunteers are in for a treat next week when they will help to uplift, split & receive fans from this Harakeke bush at Te Kohinga Harakeke o Aotearoa in Lincoln

Katarina and I prepared that bush for this, so it should be much easier on the day. It's not often we tapahi everything of a plant, but don't worry, all of these rau will get used as well.

This is a rather nice muka bush, but not part of the Orchiston collection.

Anyway, happy Easter, everyone 😊 💓

Working Bee at Ururangi Marae – This Friday & Saturday ✨

Tēnā koutou anō e te whānau,

Despite the weather, we're all set for this Friday and Saturday. Bring your raincoat, gumboots, and a smile! We’ll do what we can — even if it’s just pulling a few weeds or clearing some cobwebs — every bit of awhi is appreciated.

Rain or shine, we’ll come together, united in our efforts and shared desire to re-ignite the wairua of Ururangi Marae, bit by bit.

As with any kaupapa like this, there is a level of risk involved, which we will do our best to manage. Please take a moment to read our Health & Safety Guidelines below.

Kia ora tātou e te whānau. Nau mai, hoki mai ki te āwhina.
