6 years of rolling the dice! 🎲✨Fresh off our NZ Comedy Fest season, I wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who has jumped into the chaos and joy. Over the last six years, we’ve performed the show in 9 different venues, been in 7 festivals, with over 30 incredible comedians from around Aotearoa and the world putting fear aside to pick up the Die of Destiny.

Cast Announcement - This coming Tuesday sees brews and boldness at The Whammy Bar. Improvisers riff up a storm of comedy scenes for your entertainment and joy. Then when the dust settles one of them is bestowed the honour/responsibility of captaining the comedy ship of improv into uncharted waters of joy and intrigue. The results will be high stakes hilarity and a constantly changing experiment of one of theatre’s weirdest niche art forms… improvisation!

Brews and boldness at The Whammy Bar on Tues 9th June at 7:30pm. Four improvisers riff up a storm of comedy scenes for your entertainment and joy. When the dust settles one improviser is bestowed the honour and responsibility of directing the entire 8:30pm show! Joined by a cast of delightful improvisers, the director captains the ship of improv comedy into uncharted waters of joy and intrigue. After three weeks of comedy chaos and joy we are excited to let you know we had a wonderful nod from the comedy fest as The Dice Show was nominated for Best Ensemble at the Nz International Comedy Festival. Huge thanks to Jaz and the Basement team and Tash and the Festival team for making this all possible!

This show is a wonderful format (that we've worked really hard on) but the performers are the ones filling it up with hilarious moments, observations and play. So we are incredibly grateful for all these amazing performers who said yes to rolling with The Dice Show during the festival. Please follow them on socials, go to their shows and celebrate their creativity

We talked about anime, pancakes and learned just a bit too much about dolphins. The audience wooed the Dice of Destiny as we chewed gum and trifled with birds. Thank you to everyone who rolled with us for a joyous night of chaos and comedy. Please check out the cast’s wonderful shows this week…
