Visions
Visions is a contemporary art gallery focused on partnerships and dialogues, pairing artists with inter-disciplinary thinkers.
Continuing on from the strong foundations of the former gallery Bowerbank Ninow (established in 2015), Visions upholds the commitment to presenting conceptually-driven exhibitions with represented and invited artists, as well as curatorial collaborations.
Based in Auckland, New Zealand, Visions supports leading contemporary artists whose work is held in significant museum collections and is regularly presented in curated exhibitions. The gallery programme centres on inclusivity, actively contributing to the community by providing a hub for mindful conversation and inspiration. Through its rigorous discussions and curated presentations, Visions fosters the creative community becoming an agent for change.
Visions has partnered with Sydney-based freelance writer Elli Walsh as its principal writer. Elli has held editorial roles at several Australian art publications and is currently Deputy Editor of Artist Profile and Curator at 3:33 Art Projects.
