From epic adventures and wild places to the inspiring people behind them, this is a celebration of adventure, determination and storytelling at its best. ✨

Creativity Reimagines Belmont 🎨

Miriam’s young artists, (class on Thurs 3.15pm @ RC), have been exploring Henri Matisse’s colour-blocking technique to create their own vibrant interpretations of our beloved Belmont and Hauraki dairies.

These rangatahi have done such an amazing job that they’ve inspired us to take the idea even further… 👀✨Watch this space!

🌟 Join the North Shore CMA Team – Belmont Centre Coordinator Wanted! 🌟
North Shore CMA is looking for a caring, community-minded person to lead our Belmont Centre! You need a can-do attitude. 💛
📍 The role:
✅ 6 hrs/week – Thursday mornings (approx. 4 hrs on-site) + remaining hours from home
✅ School term only – NO work during school holidays (40 weeks a year)
✅ Occasional Friday meetings/training
💬 What you'll do:
Lead a small team of volunteers running fun morning activities for isolated older adults, including an ACC-approved strength and balance program.
🙋 You'll need:
Empathy for older people, good organisational skills, comfort with Microsoft Office, and the ability to work unsupervised. Experience with volunteers or strong local networks is a bonus!
Perfect for a parent with school-age kids or a retiree wanting meaningful part-time work. 🧡
