For my daughter's birthday party this year, she requested a Tangled theme! While the party didn't involve a scavenger hunt, there was plenty to do with this craft packed experience! I'm dropping all of the decorations, activities, and party tips below.

Throw your child an epic Tangled birthday party with decoration ideas, crafts, activities, food, and Rapunzel inspired cakes.

What can I say? When it comes to my kids birthday parties there is no holding me back. 😅

The planning for my son’s next Superhero party is underway! He’s requested a mission involving three villains: Dr. Doom, Venom, and Galactus. Today, I’m working on creating coded “battery” clues made with toilet paper rolls. After finding each battery on a scavenger hunt, the kids will need to match them and figure out the message.

Unfortunately for them, the code will read “Doom Trap Activated!” 🤪

I can’t wait to send them on their superhero mission! More updates to come.

There’s nothing off-limits when it comes to a DIY birthday party. With just a little creativity, even the garage door can turn into an interactive party prop!

Armed with their magic rings (made of craft paper — template included in my DIY Superhero Birthday Party Kit!), the kids pointed their hands at the garage door to open the final portal at the end of their mission. ✨🦸‍♂️

Meanwhile, my husband added some extra “super” magic by playing with the garage door opener… starting and stopping it as the kids swirled their arms faster and faster until the portal finally opened. The look on their faces = priceless! 💫

If your little hero is ready for an adventure, my DIY Superhero Party Kit makes it easy to bring the magic home.

Is it even a birthday party if you haven’t drawn some ancient magical symbol in chalk on the garage floor? 💫✨

Just another day in the life when throwing an epic Superhero party at home.
To create this DIY symbol, I lined up marbles to mark each spot, measuring out the distance to the center. The symbol was HUGE and spanned 3/4 of the floor. While I may have gotten a little crosseyed trying to remember what line went where, it was so worth it.

Not only did it add a perfect extra touch to the decorations, it was easy cleanup too — a quick vacuum and the chalk was gone without a trace!

If your little one dreams of saving the universe too, my DIY Superhero Party Kit makes it simple (and so much fun) to pull off at home. ✨🦸‍♂️

With less than three months to go before my son’s next party, I’m getting to work brainstorming the next party experience! 🥳🎉

My son has requested another Marvel Superhero party with three villains: Galactus, Venom, and Dr. Doom.

Tentatively, I’m planning to assign super powers to each of the kids and include a mixture of escape room antics, an obstacle course, and a final boss battle where the kids take down Galactus!

I can’t wait to share the process and crafts in the months ahead! Once it’s done, I look forward to reimagining the party as another Superhero party kit for you all! ✨

🎁✨ Crafting station… unlocked!
Our little adventurers had to search the Overworld for the ingredients to build their recipes and reveal the final product—just like in the game! 🧱🔍

This epic DIY party setup is part of our digital party kit—packed with printables, props, and activities to turn your space into a full-blown adventure.

Who else’s kid would absolutely lose it over a real-life crafting table? 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️

When it comes to decorating, the key is to always think outside the box. Say goodbye to a bunch of balloons and one single display.

Years ago, my son wanted an Aladdin birthday party! For the party, I sent the kids on a Scavenger hunt through the backyard that eventually led them to my kid’s playhouse — which I had turned into the Cave of Wonders!

I threw down an Aladdin rug we already owned, gold fabric glittery table covers, a plastic table sheet, and scattered plastic jewels around with a treasure box! My son absolutely loved this magical transformation. 🪄
