From our artist line up for 2026: Brenda Clews Art

Brenda Clews is an Auckland based, artist whose work is inspired by memory, emotion, and an intuitive connection to the land. Rather than painting directly from a scene, Brenda draws from remembered moments, impressions, and the feeling a landscape leaves behind — creating works that are expressive and atmospheric. Unrestricted in her use of colour, Brenda’s paintings move between vivid, energetic palettes and softer, more pared-back tones. Bold skies, luminous waterways, rolling terrain, and abstracted forms emerge through layered brushwork and confident mark-making. Brenda's work offers a contemporary interpretation of New Zealand’s natural beauty through colour, texture, and memory.

From our 2026 artist line up: Logan Bow

Logan Bow is a multidisciplinary artist and emerging architect whose practice bridges visual art, design, and spatial exploration. Currently pursuing a Master of Architecture (Professional) and Urban Design at the University of Auckland, Logan explores the use of polymethyl methacrylate by investigating form, density, and figural volumetric origami. His practice thrives on experimentation, embracing distortion, flow, and balance to push creative boundaries in both playful and thought-provoking ways. This exploration results in a vibrant interplay between kinetic movement, captured energy and abstract structures.
