Muriwai Beach Open Mic

Muriwai Beach Open Mic Muriwai Beach Open Mic night events have been held fo many years but we are now struggling to find a venue. Any help is greatly appreciated.

This is a family friendly open mic night formerly held at the Muriwai Surf Club, but now held at several Northwest Venues.

7pm to 8pm is open mic for 2-3 songs for those wanting to play a few songs and rock up on the night.
8-9pm - 20 min slots for 3 groups who have been booked in before the evening.
9-10ish- Feature band for the evening booked in before the evening. We need to know how many are

in your group unless you are solo, what you will need with regard to equipment, direct inputs, etc. We will have a PA with foldbacks, lights, mic leads, mics, mixer and if required, a drum kit, bass amp, guitar amp if they are arranged before the night. Open Mic night is for the Muriwai and Northwest community in particular but is open to the wider community to come along and enjoy great local talent as well as an open forum for musicians to perform to a friendly and familiar audience. There is a food truck at each event and the bar will be open.
