On September 11th it was my absolute honour to see MU alumni Joseph Cruz capture his very first Championship at Heathen Combat!

Cruz captured the Hand Of Fate Championship in an intense Gauntlet match where he pinned NZ veterans and more.

Dedicated, hardworking and humble Cruz is everything you’d want in a professional wrestler.
At just 20 years old with years of training already behind him, this is just the start for Joseph Cruz.

Our last ever New Zealand Professional Wrestling Champion Tommy Fusion had to make the difficult decision to retire due to injury.

From the day Fusion rang to start training he was one of the most polite, respectful & loyal trainees to ever step into our training centre and promotion.

He was a man who dedicated so much time to getting better, to wrestling whenever he could & had big dreams of making it.

As his first ever promotion & training school this is heartbreaking to us also, but so much respect for Tommy in knowing that further injuries could happen & that it was the right decision to make.

No matter where he goes in life, whatever he decides to do his values, ethics and morals means he will succeed.

There was not many greater moments in MU history than when Fusion joined our team.

We love you Tommy & if everyone had half your attitude, professionalism & dedication to professional wrestling, everyone would be in a better place.

These guys!! Always done it their way & still succeeding.

I will never deserve the kindness you've shown me since the day we met. No matter how pathetic the world around me becomes, you are a constant beacon of unwaivering honor. Thank you for everything.

Bend the knee for no man
Politics mean NOTHING to us for we know;
The weak crave power, the strong crave honor.

This is our Treaty and we break it for no one.

Maniacs United has started the Professional Wrestling Journey for some of the current best pro wrestlers in NZ and those who have the potential to be future stars!!

From Frankie Quinn our first ever trainee to Phoenix Tallion who’s currently in England to further his professional wrestling career to Rugged Vic Craig who was with us nearly a decade & was the first ever MU trainee to make his USA debut, to Tommy Fusion our last ever NZPW Champion with visions of overseas stardom, to Joseph Kruz who earnt himself a main roster contract to IPW the Saturday just gone. Not forgetting the NZPW Championship reign of Voidheart' JT Hollow - NZ Pro Wrestler our co trainer. To our local stars TE KAHA NZPW and Jackson Graves. To even the smaller starts of, Krystal Kayne, Carmen Rose, Connor King, Jordan MacCallan & so many more..

This has lead us to the decision that MU will be back in 2025 running beginning trainings ONLY out of the MU Ruckus Room..

More details soon.
