Bringing the rhythm of the Brazilian Carnival to New Zealand shores, Copacabana Beat was born from the passion of a group of friends for this amazing spectacle of colours and happiness that is the Carnival.
Every year in the month of February, the whole country stops for a week or more to celebrate the culture, the people and the wonders of nature that our country is blessed with.
This is when Samba enters the stage ! Creating the atmosphere and elevating the spirits of everyone in the Sapucai (name of the avenue where the official Carnival party takes place in Rio de Janeiro) and everyone else across the country.
