Today The Veils alongside Banished Music announce a 10-date New Zealand tour including 6 band shows featuring the closing show of Strange Universe: Winter in Auckland, and 4 solo performances.

Founding Beach Boys Member Al Jardine brings The Pet Sounds Band and The Beach Boys magic to Christchurch and Dunedin this July.

Al Jardine and the 11-piece Pet Sounds Band, personally put together with the late, great, Brian Wilson and Al Jardine, will be celebrating American Independence Day weekend for a 4th of July party in Christchurch, before visiting Dunedin on July 5th.

Joined by the Pet Sounds Band, the show celebrates over 60 years of Beach Boys music and features hits written by Brian Wilson and Al Jardine, known fondly as America’s Band!

Audiences can expect timeless favourites including California Girls, Help Me Rhonda, and Wouldn’t It Be Nice, alongside deeper cuts and rare gems from the 1970s. The performance honours Brian Wilson’s extraordinary legacy while celebrating the unmistakable harmonies and spirit of The Beach Boys.

GEORGIA KNIGHT ANNOUNCES NZ TOUR 🌑

Banished Music proudly welcomes back Naarm-born, sometimes Aotearoa-based artist Georgia Knight for a three-date New Zealand tour this April. Following her standout solo performance at The Others Way, where she delivered a spellbinding set that lingered long after the final note, Knight returns to Aotearoa stages with her full live band and an expanded, immersive show.

Crafting otherworldly pop from autoharp, dusty loops, synth textures and avant-garde edges, she has steadily built a singular sonic world of her own. Her debut album Beanpole marked a defining moment, drawing praise for its dimly lit, hypnotic pull and cementing her reputation as one of the most compelling new voices in alternative music.

Now touring Beanpole, recorded with Andrew ‘Idge’ Hehir, Knight brings a fuller live experience that feels intimate yet cinematic. Three nights to step inside her world properly, this time with the band in full force.

Arriving just over a year after their last release, ‘Fragile World’ marks a striking shift in tone and energy for the band. Recorded live to tape in New Zealand by Paddy Hill, with production by Tom Healy (Tiny Ruins, The Chills, Folk Bitch Trio), ‘Fragile World’, captures The Veils in an urgent and instinctive mode.

Next to the album, an extensive European and UK tour has been announced. New Zealand & Australian Veils fans should keep eyes peeled for other touring news in the coming weeks.
